The US question stopped me. I genuinely don’t know off the top of my head, but there is certainly no direct federal equivalent. I want to look at it properly rather than answer from memory, but my sense is the US has state-level pieces (Freelance Isn’t Free laws, Prompt Payment Acts) rather than a federal equivalent, but I want to check before I answer you. I’ll come back to you on this. It may be the next Small Print issue
